I was just thinking about how nice it is to have regular summer weekends. The campground fills up with families here on Friday nights. Tents, cottages, small campers mostly. Ones that young families can afford.
They come for the Wild West Town next door, for the Train Museum down the road 2 miles, and some come just to get out of the city and experience camping in all it's various flavors.
I remember being a kid and going camping with a tent. Seeing people with a camper we would say "that's not really camping". LOL Now we ARE those people "not really camping".
Take a look at our "EmbroideryHighway" blog for photos of a camper that was here yesterday for the night. It is a custom made caravan that was shipped over here from France for the couple who own it to tour the America's... all of the Americas!
