Appointments - Follow Up
We met with our new doctor Monday and we both liked her and her approach to health. I will probably share more about her and her unique practice in the future, but for now will just say that Holly and I are hopeful she will be able to help us get healthier. :-)
Urban Legends...
I often see posts on facebook that seem to be crazy but are posted by friends. Instead of hitting "share", I do a Google search, or look them up on www.snopes.com with just a key phrase from the post to see if the story is true. It seems like at least 90% of the time, the story is a hoax and my friend has re-posted it, thinking it was true.
If you see an odd story, please verify it with a quick check on Google, Snopes, or UrbanLegend.com website before you share it.
There are a LOT of these hoaxes for some reason and I have shared a couple of them myself without checking for the truth first. It doesn't take long before someone points out the facts and I'm a bit annoyed when I know I've fallen for one of them myself.
Monday Appointments
Holly and I both have appointments with a new doctor tomorrow (Monday) for checkups and consultations. She was referred to us by our friends Tim and Gayle Driscoll. This doctor specializes in "functional medicine" which is a new concept to me but is concept that goes way back in time to Hipocrates. We will let you know how it goes. :-)
