New Designs In The Mail

The digitizing team at ATW mail the test sews to Holly for a final look-see before they are released to our members.  That means several times a week there are 8" x 12" envelopes in the mail to open.  It's always fun to see the fruits of the team's work. Opening the envelopes is always fun.  Yesterday there were some new 3-D designs in there that will be going out to members in a couple weeks that knocked my socks off.  LOL. 

Health Updates...

I had a follow-up visit this morning with our Dr and he is also of the opinion that my recent illness was a stomach bug.  I hope he is right. I'm on a clear bland diet for several days.

Yesterday morning Holly learned of another close friend (a friend since she was 13) who is now facing a cancer challenge.  We lost a friend in February, have another friend recently diagnosed with thyroid cancer, and now another one going in for tests on Thursday in Miami.  It's a scary thing and we're not happy about this situation.

At this point, Holly and I are changing our diets and our healthcare providers with the idea of finding a more healthy way to live, and ultimately to share what we learn along the way with our friends.

We are more and more of the opinion that our food is the problem.  So you'll see more about this topic as time goes by here in our newsletter. 

Newsletter Frequency

Being stuck in a hospital for an unknown period of time (they were thinking about surgery!) makes one realize the vulnerable spots in your life pretty fast.  One of them in my life is the newsletter is written by ME.  That's a problem when I can't write it every morning.  Since I'm pretty darn sure I will be BACK in the hospital again soon, I am going to change the frequency of the full blown newsletter to something more manageable even if I am in the hospital again, and something that Holly or Robin can do if I can't do it at all. 

Starting Saturday, I will make the newsletter that you see here a Saturday morning thing.  The other days of the week, I will make an automated send out for a couple other things like Friday freebie announcements, Monday designs, etc.  The idea is to make it possible for everything to run even if I'm not available for a while.  :-)
