"PartyLine" Opens Next Week!
What IS The "PartyLine"?
The "PartyLine" will be a place where people can listen in "live" on phone calls between me and people in the sewing industry that you would be interested in meeting or listening to. I have quite a few folks lined up already in the sewing industry that I think you would like to get to know, and other folks I have thought of but have not confirmed yet, but I'm looking for OTHER people that I haven't already thought of so far.
I have people lined up already in the quilting, embroidery, fashion sewing, speakers, famous people, authors, corporate executives, and so on. My job will be kind of like "Oprah"... just to be your voice to these people and ask the questions you would like to ask them.
Members of ATW will have first shot at registering for each call and then non-members will be able to fill in the empty seats after ATW members have registered. Also, you will be able to listen in on your phone or on your computer and if you attend via computer there will be no software to download or install. Once the call is completed, a REPLAY link will be available a few minutes later automatically inside the PartyLine area of ATW in case you missed the live call due to work or some other horrible event. :-)
The first calls will begin in the next few days and the time of the calls will vary based on the availability of the celebrity I'm talking with for you. My question for you is... who would you want me to get on the PartyLine for you?
Please note that Barack and Michelle are probably not available, but otherwise, I'll give it a try. Looking for sewing related mostly, but will also have some folks in other areas of interest too, such as our current focus in our personal lives, getting healthier, and a couple other topics. :-)
Holly's Computer Fixed
Wednesday Evening 8-8-2013 Webinar Had To Be Cancelled When Holly's Computer Had A "Stroke".
It took several hours of work to fix it but it was up and running by the time she got up the next morning. (An all-nighter for me!) There was a problem with Windows Explorer crashing. That's more commonly called "My Computer". So she couldn't see any files which is a big problem when you are tying to do something on your computer. :-)
I tracked the problem down to a bug in a "DLL" and turned off the DLL's that were not straight from Microsoft using a program called ShellExView.exe that was free at... http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html After turning off the DLL's I was able to find the one that was creating a conflict.
Now... the question Holly has and I have to agree with her is this... how in the HECK does someone deal with this sort of problem if they don't have a computer guru living in their house? Wow. Well - I learned something else about Windows thanks to this problem. The bad thing is, I don't really WANT to learn anything else about Windows! LOL. But I do.Health Updates...
I've found that as we get older, sitting around having dinner with friends always involves talk about ailments and doctors and related issues. If you're not to that stage of life yet, feel free to skip this post. We won't be offended at all. If you DO want an update on our lifestyle changes related to diet and health, check out this post in our ATW forum...

We will have a blog up shortly so everyone who wants to follow how this is going for us can watch while keeping the details of our health and diets out of the mainstream of our embroidery website. The blog is already set up, but I don't have the domain name linked to it yet. I will link that up when we have enough info on the blog to make it interesting.
