What Did YOU Do...
With The 3-D Flower Designs?
Inquiring minds want to know... :-) From the ATW forum...
"I have been waiting for pictures of the beautiful organza flowers to be posted in the Photo Gallery, but sadly, there aren't any. My closest fabric store is 55 miles away so haven't had the chance to shop and organza isn't something I keep in my stash. We were all so anxious to get the designs, hasn't anybody made any of them yet? My mind is whirling with ideas to use the designs but have to wait to get the material. I've considered using tulle or something similar to try them on but haven't had the time yet. Have any of you tried other materials. if so how did it turn out - let's see some pictures." -- Dolores
Alabama Layover
We spent Friday night in Alabama waiting for a part to become available on Saturday morning. The relay that connects the batteries to the engine gave up the ghost on Friday while we were having lunch in a rest area and the coach won't move without that part. There's an old saying "Big doors swing on little hinges" and that is the case with our motorhome today. A $35 part keeps the whole thing from running. With a little luck we will be fixed and driving again by 9am Saturday morning. :-) Oh yeah... I will also carry a spare of THAT part with me!

Our Health Updates 9/7/2013
We are both now beyond the lowest weights we have been at in a couple years and it's really going well. We have been able to stay with our eating plan pretty well in spite of the travel. I was SHOCKED to find a "friendly" meal choice at Cracker Barrel Thursday night! They have a veggie plate with 4 veggies on it now. Nice!
We are eating WAAAAYYYY differently than we always did before and that seems to be making a big difference. We are also taking some vitamins/supplements to help support our metabolism. And we have found a doctor that is not the run-of-the-mill doctor but who instead listens (OMG is that even possible?) to us and is treating us based on "us" instead of on the pharmaceutical company guidelines.
If you are interested, I will see if our doctor will agree to being on the PartyLine for you all to hear her and ask questions. Let me know if that would interest you.
