A new set was just released called "Vintage Christmas Cards" for members of ATW to download instantly. Stitch out a few for those special people in your life, OR, stitch out a BUNCH of them for a Christmas Craft Fair. These are very popular and not something the person at the next table is likely to have available. :-)

Holly is preparing for Sulky Certification school all next week and I will be home taking care of Pearl and staying busy with work too. I will be switching over the service we use for sending newsletters and there is quite a bit of prep work for that change but it will be worthwhile when you all see what is possible with a state-of-the-art system in January.

This Is Crazy!

I just saw a healthcare report (Time Magazine) about a guy in California who got a $340,000 hospital bill. Yes, they did a lot of stuff to help him out, but the bill included $1,584 for 88 diabetes test strips you can buy at Amazon for $49.02 I understand that there are additional costs involved, but no matter how you look at it, that's a pretty significant amount of padding to put under "diabetic test strips". Add another $480 for 19 niacin pills that you can buy for $5 per hundred, and you can see how crazy our system has become.

I'm not getting political with this, but I think if I was diabetic and had to check into the hospital, I'd bring my own test strips. :-)
