Updates To ATW Site!
I have just finished some changes to the ATW website that I hope will make it better for our members to use.  Here's what was updated...

Home Page Graphic Updated:  The home page has two jobs.  Job one is a quick way for Members to get inside to their favorite places on the site with "design downloads" and "forums" being the two most popular spots.  Job two is a quick way for site visitors to see what the site is about in a single glance.  For that reason, I replaced the graphics in the center of the home page to explain what the site does in a few seconds...
Hopefully, the words "EMBROIDERY CLUB" and "Click for Details" should stand out for new site visitors to get what we do in an instant.

Oh yes - I should mention the photo of the girl... it's not Holly.  It's some model who is holding a place for Holly temporarily.  We're doing a photo-shoot on Monday and Holly will be in that spot in a couple days. :-)

Cascading Menus Replaced:  Just below the logo of the site is a horizontal menu or "Nav-bar" that has been there since we opened in various forms.  When our site software was updated in June that bar was given the ability to drop-down an additional menu when you hovered on a menu item.  That was nice in theory - but in practice it was annoying because the menu's would drop down, roll up, drop down, roll up... quickly.  That feature has been turned off and replaced by a static menu on those items that offer multiple choices.  ( like the Membership menu for example )

"Current Member Designs" and Archived "Member Designs" Promoted:  The two most important things to access are the two design areas of the site based on questions and comments from members.  So we have improved the ease of getting to those two areas by moving them to the top of the two side menus...
The idea is to make it easier for members to get to the designs.  Over the next few months I will also be updating how the Archived designs are stored to make it easier to SEARCH and DOWNLOAD them too.  That will take some time but it's on my short list.  :-)
Silhouette Designs

For those who also do scrapbooking, and use cut files, SVG, Studio and Studio3 designs, take a look at Holly's cut file site...

It's My Goal To Delight You...
Please let me know how I'm doing for YOU.

Holly has assembled a great team of digitizers to create new designs for our members every week.  Designs are officially "up" now every Saturday morning although they are actually turned on every Friday to be sure everything works right before the weekend starts.

Many thanks to all our members who let me know ASAP when I've messed up on one of the upload processes.

While Holly handles the design side of our business, It's my job to build the website pages and maintain the site service.  It's my goal to DELIGHT OUR MEMBERS and I hope you will let me know whenever you find a way that I can improve on what I do for you. Just click REPLY to this email.
