One week ago we launched the "Digitizing QuickStart" course for those who want to learn digitizing. The course cost is $99 and it teaches digitizing in a 30 day sequence of lesson modules designed to take about an hour per day.
There were three questions I received from several people about the software needed for the class and when the classes will start. Here are the answers to those
questions and I will add this info to the course introduction page as well.
The software I use to teach digitizing is Generations digitizing system. I include a copy of the program with the course. It is a trial copy - not a permanent copy. It runs for 30 days which is the same length as the course. That is part of the reason I chose to make the course 30 days long! Otherwise, everyone would have to buy the program to learn to digitize. I
prefer to teach you to digitize and then let you decide on what program you want to use going forward.
Another question related to the software is whether a student can use their own digitizing software for the class. If you have Generations software, then the answer is yes and I don't need to send out a copy of the software to you which is great as I can save some expense that way. If you have some other digitizing software, the answer is no. The last time I
counted there are 82 different digitizing programs and versions that are listed on our trade-in sheet. Nobody ( including me ) could possibly know how to digitizing and teach 82 different programs.
The classes start on whatever day you enroll in the program. It is an individualized course so there is no group start date required. If you are ready to start today, enroll today and a couple minutes later lesson module one will arrive in your email
inbox.
