Many of you have seen Holly's sewing room
progress...
... but not my room and what I am doing for my own workspace. Today's pic is an update on my own workspace.
While Holly's room consists of three walls of glass, mine is four solid walls. While she needs to feel "open space", I am more of a "man-cave" kind of guy.
When we first moved into our home, my office was a corner of the dining room. I moved my office to the
garage a year ago. I love the quiet out here, but there was no heating or cooling in my space. I took care of the heat with a portable heater in the winter and the cooling by working early morning hours in the summer, but last week I opened up the drywall and had insulation blown into the walls and ceiling. Now that my workspace is insulated, I can add an HVAC unit to heat and cool the room.
So... here is the "after" picture of my
office walls being insulated. I will put drywall back up next week to cover that the opening used to blow in the insulation, then I can move forward with the HVAC unit before the weather gets hot.
