Chenille may refer to either a type of yarn or fabric made from it. Chenille is the French word for "caterpillar" whose fur the yarn is supposed to resemble.
Today's new designs include a set made by Loraine Meyer of chenille. The photo above
is a stitch-out of one of the designs in the set. The rest of the designs are shown in set #4 shown below, but this photo gives a much better idea of how these designs look stitched so I included it in today's newsletter.
Of course, Loraine has included complete step-by-step instructions for how to stitch these out and really, it is easier than you may think. Stitch, snip, done.
The 3-D
Flowers shown as set #3 below are actually the third set in this series of realistic flowers designed by Nancy Smith. As you can see, each flower represents a different real flower. Holly and I will make a short video as soon as possible to showcase what these look like. They are easy to make and of course Nancy has included complete step-by-step instructions for putting them together in each set released.
