Good morning
I saw a funny post on Facebook
yesterday...
"How do you know it's Fall in Florida?"
"When the colors begin to change on the license plates."
While that's true, a lot of the different color license plates we have seen lately have been on utility trucks from other states. There were convoys of them entering as Irma was passing into Georgia. The last couple days we
have seen those same trucks leaving. Thank you to all those heroes who came and helped out.
Holly and I were so fortunate with Irma. Of the 67 counties in Florida, I heard that only 2 did not sustain damage. That would be Santa Rosa (our county) and Escambia which is the county between us and the Western edge of Florida where I-10 enters Alabama.
Let's say
"enough" for this hurricane season and get back to our regularly scheduled programs.
